Do you sit on the couch with your best friend potato chips beside you as you cry out your heartache and bitterness in the world? Sometimes, we eat more than what we need. We eat not only to be full and to satisfy our physical needs. Most of the time, we eat because it makes us feel good for a moment. We eat because it is our way of running away from the negative emotions we feel. When we feel depressed, we eat. We use food as oursafe haven, a sort of security blanket amidst our insecurities towards the world.
